Trash Cleaner


Scans your drive(s) for unused junk files and deletes them.

Internet Browsing: Here you can check/uncheck the webbrowsing cache items you want to remove. Be aware that deleting cookies may delete stored login data and passwords you entered for some websites.

Windows: in this tabpage you can check/uncheck various windows temporary files you want to delete or keep.

Programs: in this tabpage you can check/uncheck various application temporary files you want to delete or keep.

Deep Scan: Deep Scan will scan one or more selected drive(s) for files of one or more specified file extensions and delete them

Options: Check the 'shred file' box to permanently delete all the junk files found by Trash Cleaner.

Report: After pressing the 'Calculate trash size' button a short summary of what will be deleted will appear in this tabpage. For a more detailed list of what files are ready to be deleted, press 'view details'.


How to use Trash Cleaner ?
1. Check or uncheck the various options you want Trash Cleaner to scan for.
2. Press 'Calculate trash size'. This will scan your drive and give you an estimate of how much size you can free up to cleaning your disk.
3. If necessary, review the files to be deleted by pressing 'view details'.
4. Be sure to close all other programs before proceeding : an open program means it could keep some of the files open that Trash Cleaner wants to delete.
4. Press 'Clean now' to start cleaning your disk.
