Privacy Protector
Permanently deletes a file or folder, making recovery of data impossible.
Delete a single file: Click on the textbox labeled 'filename'. A folderbrowser window will appear : select the file you want to shred. Next, press 'Shred file' to delete the file permanently.
Delete a folder: Click on the textbox labeled 'Folder'. A folderbrowser window will appear : select the folder you want to shred. Next, press 'Shred folder' to delete the folder and all its files & subfolders permanently.
Shredding options: When shredding a file, it will be physically overwritten with random data. In this dropdown box you can specify how many overwrite cycles you want the file shredder to perform for each file. Default value is 1.
