Large Folder Locator
Performs a disk space analysis on a selected drive or folder and presents disk space usage in a clear, windows explorer-like view.
Step 1 : Selecting a drive or Folder
When you start Large Folder Locator, you will be presented with a folderbrowser windows allowing you to select the drive or folder you want to analyze. Select a folder from the list and press OK to proceed or Cancel to cancel.
Step 2 : Analysis
Large Folder Locator will now perform an analysis on the selected drive or folder. This could take a few minutes on older drives or very large drives. At any time this analysis can be cancelled by pressing 'Cancel'.
Step 3 : Folder Explorer
After the analysis is complete, the folder explorer windows will load. This windows is divided in 2 columns. In the left column you will see the selected folder or drive and its subfolders, each one provided with a label telling you its size.
When selecting a folder in the left column, its the files and subfolders will be loaded in the right column. In this list you can sort the items by name, size or date.
deleting: at any time in this window, you can delete a file or folder by selecting it and pressing the delete button on your keyboard. Important : selected items will be permanently deleted, you will not be able to recover them from your recycle bin.
